Chapman Services Group suggests that you always plan ahead. If you are leaving a company, go ahead and ask for a written letter of recommendation from your manager or supervisor. This saves time later trying to track down past managers or colleagues that many have moved on. If you haven’t done this yet, go back to the company and ask for a recommendation or reference letter as soon as possible.
