When creating your resume, including your education doesn’t necessarily mean you have to have a degree. Dig a little deeper such as including certifications you have earned, because this only makes your resume stronger. If you are still enrolled in school obtaining a degree, include the information and your academic goals.

Also include any association or volunteer activities you are or were involved in because they play an important role in softer skills such as teamwork. Don’t leave it out just because you don’t think it has anything to do with your experience. The fact of the matter is, education and activities has quite an impact on your resume and you never know if the decision-maker, hiring manager or recruiter shares in some of your academia qualification or associations.
