Once you have created a rough draft of your resume, go back through your background information and decide whether or not you should apply to certain positions. Do you really want every position that is posted? If you are truly interested in a position, are you really qualified for it and then with your current resume in hand, do you have a chance? If you think your resume is compelling enough then by all means, apply; however, if you still need to work on your resume, then either contact a Professional Resume Writer or make some changes on your own.

It is a good rule of thumb NOT to apply to every job opening available. You should apply to positions you are qualified for and target your job search. When your focus is the same as your resume and career goals, your job search will ultimately land you the job you want and that you are qualified to do.
