Continuing from yesterday’s post on powerful opening statements, it’s important to include elements that highlight your skills and abilities, and accomplishments. Depending on your job-search situation, your statement should include your career and resume objective on one career focus.
The most effective resume profiles are ones that target one career goal- so stay focused. If you have more than one objective, you should consider creating different versions of your resume and career focus. It is quite possible your career focus is on several or more than one target so having more than one resume in this case would make sense. Don’t feel overwhelmed if you have more than one career focus, it just means you probably need to have more than one resume.
