Use the right keywords
With the age of technology, many companies and recruiters are using digital databases to search for potential candidates to hire on. This means they query their database on specific keywords and if your resume doesn’t offer those specific keywords that are being searched, you will miss out before you even get a chance to start.
Keywords are usually nouns. Check out some job descriptions and related job ads that coincide with your experience and what job you may be looking for. Since some people actually write their resume as if the purpose of the document was to land a job, they end up looking like desperate job hunters. The objective of your resume is to land an interview, and the interview will land you the job! Instead of creating a resume with a long and boring list of all your qualities try to connect them with real life and work experiences and back them up.
