If you manage to explain how it will benefit his company, and to connect it to tangible results, then you will greatly improve your chances.
Again, just to reiterate, show your value in CAR format (Challenges you faced, Actions you took, and the Results of those actions). Your skills have value so express them in your resume so that they are clear and focus on the position you are applying for.
yes, i totally agree with the blog. Many of the employers look at the skills and abilities of the candidate first and then go to the other points in the resume, so it would be better for us to throw some extra effort on the skills and abilities rather then wasting time on formats and templates.
